Grove Cleveland lost his second re-election to the presidency because of his stance with unions and striking railroad workers. As a bid to keep himself in office he decided to give the public an official Labor Day. Well, one thing for sure, it generally means a three days of work free fun. Anyway that was the intention, of course some of us still work. However, for those of us not working, this holiday is usually pure family fun.

This wind dancer, screams that there is something going on

So how about a family party BBQ. Make invitations – the old fashioned kind, that you put on a stamp and mail them around the middle of the month. Invite the neighborhood, have the kiddies take around fliers. You can ask everyone to bring a dish of food or so. Call us and order one of our air dancers for the day and put it at the end of your driveway, get a bunch of tables and chairs (we rent those also), a bounce house or a waterslide for the kiddies, and lots of cool party lights. There are carnival games also.

Rent a Margarita Machine, $150 for the day. Comes with first mix- 5 gallons and 100 cups (Alcohol not included). 8 different types of mixes to choose from.

Take a look at our main page at all the stuff we have! and look through our stuff. We can deliver and help set up the party. This party will save you lots of expensive gas money – and you will have the comfort of your own home to hold it in. Besides, the kids will remember this kind of activity because its family run for a long time.

What is your idea? Have some ideas for Labor Day?

Rent a Water Slide for a Birthday Party

Chocolate ice cream is made from a combination of milk, cream, flavorings and sweeteners such as vanilla and chocolate essence and of course

You get funky choices such as chocolate ice cream mixed with cookie dough, chocolate mint ice cream, chocolate cheesecake ice cream, and my most recent favorite, double chocolate fudge ice cream and chocolate brownie ice cream.

Make your own ice cream. Amazon has lots of inexpensive ice cream makers, one of my favorites is -
Maxi-Matic Elite Gourmet Old Fashioned Pine Bucket Electric/Manual Ice Cream Maker. You could have ” Lets make Ice Cream party!” Would not the kids love that? The maker will make six quarts. It would be ready in 45 minutes. Ben and Jerrys also makes a recipe book you can buy on Amazon to go with it.

Now what you need is one of our water slides for this summer party and the kids will be sorta “self cleaning’. AND, you MOM will be a hit.

One Wild Time

This might look simple. Its just a picture – however it doesn’t reflect what a great time you can have with this unit. Its 33 feet long. You need to supply a running water hose for this unit. Anyway, kids have an absolute ball with this. You can put a stool at the end and even the toddlers in diapers can run it it. They love it. Line them up and watch em go.
The first time I saw a unit like this was in Leadville, It was 55 degrees and the teenagers went nuts. You would have thought it was too cold. But, not for them hardy kids. The line up, took a running dash and hopped in and slid to the end – got out and did it again.
For a summer party you don’t really need anything but this and and flat area to put it on and a running garden hose. You can go drink beer and forget about the kids.
