When I was an enterprising younger person, I used to like carnivals. Well, actually I grew up and liked carnivals, but that is another story. What is so attractive about a carnival are the games for one thing. Carnival games are fun and usually mindless – not like today’ s computer techie games. Its summer in Denver and Labor Day is coming.
Why not hold a block party? or a neighborhood carnival? or a local fundraiser. Here is the thing, if you don’t charge much and also spend some time in spreading the word around your local event, this could be actually one hell of a lot of fun! It is also a great way to teach the ten year old age group about making money.
Well, needless to say we here at A Bouncy Bear have a lot of carnival games that can be rented very inexpensively. You can set all these games up in a big backyard or a a front yard, or a park – or in front of a few homes. Light up the BBQ and put up a lemonade stand… an old fashioned one. And have one great time and make some cash! Hey – you know the younger teenagers might actually be able to do this themselves! with little supervision.

One of the games we as kids always liked was Pin the Tail on the donkey. Its simple, its dumb, but it still is a lot of fun both for adults and kids. We have a version of this game that you can rent for fifteen dollars for the day.
A reason why this game is played by many people is because it is so versitile . Keeping the rules the same, you can change the object or subject of the game depending on the occasion or the party theme. Now if it iss a Christmas party, you could pin the star on the Christmas tree instead, or how about the halo on a Angel’s head? As for a Halloween party, pinning the fangs on the vampire would be a fun option. The options are endless with a little imagination.
